SAJBD mourns the Untimely passing of Olga Meshoe Washington

The South African Jewish Board of Deputies is heartbroken to learn of the untimely passing of Olga Meshoe Washington. A true friend of our community and Israel, we will forever remember Olga for her outstanding ability to communicate effectively even in the most challenging circumstances. Her hallmark was her intelligence, grace and poise.

As CEO of DEISI (Defend, Embrace, Invest, Support Israel) International, she dedicated her life to strengthening ties between Africa and Israel, passionately advancing the Christian mandate to support the Jewish state.

Our deepfelt condolences go to the Meshoe and Washington families, her friends and the countless youth she mentored and people she touched. Her legacy has left an indelible mark on our society and will remain a guiding light for future generations, marked by courage, faith and love.

May her memory be a blessing.
