Ambassador Lauder meets with SAJBD for high level meetings

The SA Jewish Board of Deputies arranged a series of high level meetings for Ambassador Lauder while he was in South Africa for the conference.  Issues of importance to South African and global Jewry were discussed in addition to discussions of importance to all South Africans.
Throughout the day of the 22nd of November meetings were held with President Zuma, ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe and International Relations Committee Chairperson Edna Molewa, African Union Commission Chairperson Dr Dlamini Zuma, Mr Tokyo Sexwale and Minister Jeff Radebe.

My heart is broken.

Ariel and Kfir crept into our hearts and felt like our precious little cousins.

I remember first getting to know those little boys, days after October 7. I wore the Ariel t-shirt at times daily. I took Ariel to the Nelson Mandela bridge and to the beach in Durban as we raised awareness of the hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza. He joined me at the solidarity events in our community in Johannesburg, at Wits university and at a Church event in Katlehong. He accompanied me to many protests.
